Interior Review of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
The 2023 E-Class coupe and cabriolet can comfortably seat four adults, while the sedan can accommodate five. On the other hand, the wagon offers two additional jump seats in the trunk, increasing passenger capacity to seven.
The wagon offers up to 35 cubic feet of cargo space, while the sedan can accommodate 13.1 cubic feet of luggage. As you'd expect, space is less in the coupe and cabriolet, at 10 cubic feet and 9.5 cubic feet, respectively.

Power and Performance of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
There are three variants of the standard 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Firstly, the base E350 sedan has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. Moving up to the E350 4MATIC adds an all-wheel-drive system to the mix.
In addition, the E450 4MATIC comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system that develops 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The same nine-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels.
Want more power? Step up to the Mercedes-AMG range with the AMG E53 4MATIC. This sees the same power plant as the E450 4MATIC but enhanced to put out 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels through an AMG Speedshift nine-speed twin-clutch transmission.
